Discover the island of mal di ventre
The name was also attributed to it for its survey from Capo San Marco (north cape of the Gulf of Oristano, a natural shelter from which we protect ourselves from the mistral and which guards the ancient city of Tharros) which sees the island looking at the mistral and therefore towards the bad wind (Maluentu or Malavente), then incorrectly translated into Mal di Ventre, the island is affected by the 3 levels of environmental protection provided by the Marine Protected Area, ZONE C – ZONE B – ZONE A, which will be illustrated on board before landing. An island, Mal di Ventre, which holds many naturalistic treasures and scenarios that continually amaze for their variety, from the cliffs and large granite stacks of the west side, to the splendid coves of the east side, from the fine sand of Cala Saline where the blue and turquoise dominate, with quartz grains from Cala Tamerici and Cala Valdaro. The island has no services, shading and refreshment points are absent, it is therefore necessary to have an umbrella, water and food for the stay. Mask and fins allow you to explore wonderful depths, and shoes facilitate the exploration of the perimeter to discover the various coves.
